Meet Duke Dog
Duke Dog sat in a shelter for many months. He wouldn’t connect with staff members or potential adopters. He had a negative reaction to men and was considered a behaviorally challenged dog. Duke likely would have been euthanized if he hadn’t met the person who would foster and then adopt him.
His new mom gave him a structured environment with professional training and lots of love. Over time, Duke learned how to be a happy and loving dog.
Duke spent nine years with his mom and doggy sisters before passing away, in the arms of his mom, from a rare tumor at the age of 11.
We honor him and his legacy of love by offering loving arms for senior and hospice animals, so they don’t have to die alone.
We honor him and live out his legacy in appreciation for the love and protection he gave to his family.
Caring for senior and hospice dogs is expensive - from vet bills and medications to treats and toys, it all adds up.
Your donation will help us ensure all their needs are met while making sure each day they have left is a safe and loving one.
